Holiday Service
Grays Harbor Transit buses do not run on these holidays, except for the Route 40 Hoquiam to Olympia Saturday-Sunday which starts and ends at the Hoquiam Station.

New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day

Passes may be purchased at the Grays Harbor Transit Office, Aberdeen station, Hoquiam station, or from your driver.

Transfers
Ask driver for a free transfer. Transfers are good for transferring from one route to another or for "Stop and Go" when you want to stop and then continue along the same route in the same direction.
Transfers are valid for one hour and may not be used for a return trip along the same route.

  • Transfers are not valid in Zone 2 (McCleary-Olympia)
  • Ask for transfer when boarding

To Catch the Bus
Board a Grays Harbor Transit bus at any marked bus stop. If you are not at a marked bus zone, signal the driver by waving in time for the bus to come to a safe stop. Drivers stop at only designated bus stops between Aberdeen-Hoquiam. Some form of lighting device; flashlight, reflecting tape, etc. will assist the driver in observing passengers waiting for the bus during darkness or inclement weather.

To Get Off the Bus

  • Pull the bell cord above the windows.
  • Please remain seated until the bus comes to a complete stop.
  • At crowded stops, used rear exit door.
  • For your safety, use handrails.

Crossing Highway
After you have gotten off the bus stand clear until the bus has pulled away. Never cross in front of, or behind the bus.

Animals
Animals, with the exception of disabled helper animals, must be in an airline approved caring case.

  • Downtown Aberdeen Station - Wishkah & G Street.
  • Downtown Hoquiam Station – 7th & J Street.
  • Note: Traffic & bridge openings may delay buses during peak periods.
